My name is Sophia Carey and I am a Senior at Wakefield School in The Plains, Virginia. After graduating high school in 2022, I will be attending the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida in the fall to study biology. I chose to write my thesis on the Witch Trials in Europe and colonial America because I have always had a fascination with the Salem witch trials and wanted to use a bigger scope to determine what caused the witch craze as a whole.
